Elstan / NIPEZ code list
System for creating product catalogues and management of public procurement object specification
The system makes the process of public procurement preparation and processing more efficient, it facilitates purchasing and acquisition processes and simplifies communication between the contracting authorities and suppliers. Elstan and NIPEZ code list is used for reducing costs of purchasing products, goods and services.
NIPEZ code list a unified central system of classification for purchases within the public sector of the Czech Republic. It is compatible with the CPV code list and it is based on the NATO codification system. It contains sets of purchased commodities characteristics which are generalised adequately to stand for a certain type of template making it possible to describe the commodities in a standardized way. Elstan software application uses these templates for easy and efficient preparation of parametric description of public procurement.
